China
China is in favor of  ISO/IEC 10646-1/FPDAM 14 ( SC2 N 3215 ) with the following comments.

1. Since the glyphs of two Yi radicals are wrongly interchanged, or, their names are wrongly interchanged, the change would be as follows:

A4AD: YI RADICAL WO should be changed to YI RADICAL DU
A4B8: YI RADICAL DU should be changed to YI RADICAL WO

Or, their glyphs should be interchanged. Therefore, the name list in Annex E should be corrected accordingly.

2. As the names listed in Annex E are not conformable to those in the tables, for instance:

Position Name in table Name in Annex E
A47A YI SYLLABLE YUOX YI SYLLABLEYUOT
A4B0 YI RADICAL CY YI RADICAL SHURE

So Chinese Yi experts would like to help the WG2 editor to correct these errors, the corrected name list will be sent to the WG2 editor by Email later.

UK COMMENTS ACCOMPANYING VOTE OF APPROVAL ON ISO/IEC 10646-1/FPDAM.14 - YI SYLLABLES AND YI RADICALS   (SC2 N 3215)

Editorial comments:
Page 1:  In the entry for page 11 the new block name should be inserted after CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPHS, not after HANGUL JAMO as shown.

Page 22, Annex E:  There are two entries for YI RADICAL MI, both with incorrect code positions.

Pages 22-29, Annex E:  The entries for all character names corresponding to code positions A3FF and above are shown with incorrect code positions, typically offset by one or two code positions.

Page 29:  An item should be added to indicate that the entry *Yi* in Annex N should be deleted.
