Test of combining sequences for Lithuanian

The following table lists the Lithuanian alphabet (in collation order), where some letters need to be represented as combining sequences also in NFC.  The letters are presented in Lithuanian collation order, up to level 3 (case differences).  There is an empty table row where there is a level 1 difference. Case pairs are not marked in the table, but should be clear form the table itself anyway.  Note that Y (y) is collated as a level 2 variant of I (i).  For the cases where the NFC has combining characters, a GIF image is included in case the display of the characters themselves do not work properly.  The table should be tested with a variety of fonts intended for use in Lithuania and neighboring countries.

The main Lithuanian alphabet consists at the Latin alphabet (A-Z, a-z; with some exceptions, see below) with extra 18 letters with diacritics (9 capital and 9 small) [white or pale blue background above]:

The main letters together with accented letters (below) [pale green or pale yellow background above] comprise the extended alphabet.

Ä, ä, Ö, ö, ß, Ü, ü, Ÿ, ÿ, Q, q, W, w, X, x, dotless i, accented lowercase i where there is no dot, and capital i with dot above (as well as several other Latin letters) are used for foreign names (words) only.

The table below is just some test cases of various kinds of i’s that do not occur in Lithuanian (white background) or are generally disrecommended (gray background):
