L2/05-376 Subject: Script value for unassigned code points Date: Mon, 28 Nov 2005 17:53:20 -0800 From: Mark Davis For discussion at the UTC meeting: Michel had a good suggestion. Currently we give the Common script value (Zyyy) to both characters that are not in a particular script, but also to unassigned code points (cf http://unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/Scripts.txt). It would be more useful to distinguish those two cases by giving the latter a separate value, such as the Zzzz value (cf http://www.unicode.org/iso15924/iso15924-codes.html).
