INCITS LB1619 - Appointment of Chairman - INCITS/L2, Character Sets and Internationalization, closed on October 26, 2011.  Mr. Craig Cummings received the required level of support (majority) to secure appointment as Chairman of INCITS/L2, Character Sets and Internationalization.  His first term begins on January 1, 2012 upon conclusion of the current L2 Chairman's (Mr. Eric Muller) term and will expire in January 2015.

As required by INCITS procedures, an appointed INCITS Subgroup officer must attend INCITS Subgroup Officer Training within one year of their appointment.  As Mr. Cummings has not received training, he will need to receive INCITS Subgroup Officer Training within one year of his appointment - not later than January 2013.
