However, encoding the Anji Sign has been forwarded to the experts and response is awaited (L2/11: 359) (ii) Additions for Telugu Language : a) Telugu length mark (U+0C55) b) Telugu Lettter LLLA (L2/12-015) & Telugu Letter RRRA (L2/12-016) Since, Telugu Govt. is also a member of Unicode and they have recommended the encoding of these characters. Hence, the same may be considered for addition. (iii) Tamil (Agenda item D.3) The proposals for Tamil are yet to be discussed with the Tamil Nadu State Govt. and in view of the different opinion observed on the mailing list, it will be appropriate to carry out due examination in consultation with the Tamil experts and the State Govt.
