Behind the Curtain: The Unicode Technical Committee

The Unicode Technical Committee oversees development of the Unicode Standard and other technical specifications for text process. But how does the Unicode Technical Committee operate? What goes on it its meetings, or in the background between its meetings? This session presented by Peter Constable, UTC Chair, and others will give an overview of the UTC’s work, with examples drawn from the process for recently encoded characters, such as the SAUDI RIYAL SIGN. A panel with representatives from UTC’s working groups will be present to answer any questions.
