I am looking for the correct symbol for degrees (e.g. in temperature). I found U+00BA (ยบ) which is described as "Masculine Ordinal Indicator (Spanish)". The symbol *looks* like a degree symbol, but the description does not sound like one. Is this the appropriate degree symbol character?

U+00B0 is the degree sign.
