rupiah (Rp), the currency of Indonesia. I haven't seen in the range of Unicode currency. So far I do encoding into F6DD. ... then automate to the OTF features, ligature. It has been the topic of discussion for some time in typophile here:
http://typophile.com/node/16012The type designers (even into some old font of Linotype) thought it was the same as the rupee (India).
But think of rupiah symbol consists of two real characters, and I think this deserves a place in one of the boxes code :)
If all currencies are ever known get a position in Unicode, it will change the writing of OTF's script associated with currency. Is my opinion true?
