Dr. Mark Davis co-founded the Unicode effort, and is the president of the Unicode Consortium. He is a principal co-author and editor of the Unicode Standard, Versions 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, and is responsible for many of the Unicode Technical Reports. He is also active in XML internationalization work in the W3C. Mark specializes in object-oriented programming and in the architecture of international and text software.
