Biography

Bill Hall - SimulTrans, L.L.C.

Bill Hall has worked for many years as a developer and consultant on Windows platforms including Windows 2000 and Windows CE for SimulTrans, NetCom, AT&T, Olivetti, and Novell. Beginning with his 1992 Microsoft Systems Journal article on Windows National Language Support, he turned his attention to the problems of Software Internationalization on Win32 and other platforms. Currently he is the Internationalization Director at SimulTrans in Mountain View, CA, where he helps clients engineer their applications to meet the demands of operating in European and Asian languages. He has contributed some 15 journal articles on the subject and he is on the editorial board of Multilingual Computing.
