Richard Gillam - Trilogy, Inc.

Richard Gillam is a senior development engineer at Trilogy Software, Inc., a leading developer of e-commerce solutions for the Global 2000. He is a former member of the IBM team that developed and maintained many of the Java i18n APIs under contract to Sun, where he had specific responsibility for the ResourceBundle and BreakIterator frameworks. His book, "Unicode Demystified: A Practical Programmer's Guide to the Encoding Standard", is slated to be published by Addison-Wesley in late 2001.
