Carter Weiss - Independent Consultant
Carter Weiss is an independent consultant specializing in Unicode and international computing in the software and hardware industries. He is the principal author of National Language Support for International Computing, and has delivered papers at Unicode 14, 17, and 19. From 1990 to 2001 he was the NLS architect at Information Builders, where he designed and implemented their Unicode implementation.
Carter received a B.A. in Political Science from Reed College, and studied at the Inter- University Center for Chinese Language Study (Taipei).
