Taylors Three Rock

Irish Night Banquet and Show at Taylors Three Rock

Taylors is a large thatched pub at the foot of the Dublin mountains. The bar itself is very large with Three large Rocks hanging from the ceiling – as the name suggests. The group will be seated in one part of the pub that hosts the traditional Irish night. It is a low roofed room with a stage at one end for the entertainers. The group will be seated at long tables with benches – it is a very informal and fun night. The group will be served a three course meal with tea/coffee. After dinner the entertainment starts, there is a band that performs some traditional Irish music. The group then pause for some traditional Irish dancers to perform – they will give a demonstration of both traditional and modern Irish dancing. The group then comes back on to end the night on a high note!

Schedule of events:

  • 6:45 p.m. - departure to venue per motor coach
  • First enjoy the banquet from their award winning restaurant
  • Then sit back to be entertained by the very best of Irish ballad groups
  • The ballad session is interrupted midway by a spectacular dance routine incorporating the best of contemporary and traditional Irish dancing
  • After the dancing the band returns to the stage to really let loose. A night of authentically Irish entertainment is guaranteed! A strong heart is required however, as both musicians and dancers involve the entire audience in this electric performance.
  • Approximately 11:00 p.m. - return to hotel

All conference participants are welcome to attend.
