Biography

Teruhiko "Kuro" Kurosaka - IONA Technologies

KUROSAKA Teruhiko, or Kuro, has over 20 years of experience in software development, focusing on internationalization and localization. He worked for Sun Microsystems for 12 years where he led the internationalization team that worked on the Solaris operating system, and later managed the localization of Sun's software tools.

After resigning Sun, Kuro was Senior Software Engineer at San Francisco office of Basis Technology (Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.), consulting client companies in software globalization issues. Most recently, he joined IONA Technologies (Dublin, Ireland) at its Santa Clara office as Internationalization Architect.

Kuro holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Kyushu University, Japan.
