Carter Weiss - Hokulewa Associates
Carter Weiss is President and Principal of Hokulewa Associates, a consulting firm specializing in international computing and Unicode.
He is the principal author of National Language Support for International Computing, and has delivered papers at Unicode 14, 17, and 20. From 1990 to 2001 he was the NLS architect at Information Builders, where he designed and implemented their Unicode implementation.
Carter's current projects involve advising history and art museums on using digital imaging and database technology to create Web-based "virtual catalogs" of their collections for marketing, scholarly research, and outreach to the public.
