Ian Little - Sun Microsystems, Ireland
Ian Little is a member of technical staff/software engineering who is currently working within the core libraries and tools group within Java software organization of Sun Microsystems. Ian holds a BA(Mod)/Phys from TCD (Dublin) 1988 and an M.Eng.Sc from NUI/Ireland 1990. His career in information/computer science spans 12 yrs and prior to Sun he worked in Northern Telecom and Tecnomen OY (Finland/Ireland). Within Java software Ian is responsible for the implementation and advancement of charset support within J2SE and the Java platform.
