Abstract

Globalization of Voice Applications

Globalization of voice applications creates new requirements on existing globalization practices. This talk will:

  1. Provide an overview of existing globalization practices and discuss their shortcomings vis a vis voice application development.
  2. Discuss solutions implemented by Oracle to address voice globalization issues.
  3. Offer globalization guidelines to factor into the voice application development process.
  4. Suggest voice globalization challenges that need to be addressed for the future, and provide a call-to-arms to encourage globalization providers to invest time and resources into addressing these challenges.
