Ajit Joshi, Sandeep Rao and Vinod Kumar are the implementors of IndiX, creating the shaping engines for many scripts like Devanagari, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. They also hack the OpenType font tables to make them conform to their ideas expressed in this paper.
