The W3C Internationalization Activity has recently been rechartered, and what was once a single Working Group has been replaced by three. Important new work has been started, for example in the areas of internationalization and localization related tag sets, and mechanisms for associating locale information with Web Services. This talk will provide an update about the current activities of the W3C in internationalisation, and summarise current progress on new work items.
