Dustin Kirkland is a Software Engineer in IBM's Linux Technology Center. Dustin's expertise revolves around Security and Open Source Intellectual Property. He has worked toward achieving EAL2, EAL3, and EAL4 security certifications for SLES9. Dustin has also designed and co-developed BogoSec, a source code security quality metric calculator. He is an active inventor for IBM, filing numerous patent applications. Dustin graduated from Texas A&M University in Computer Engineering and Mathematics, and regularly speaks at universities and conferences.
