The Ninth International Unicode Conference will bring together industry-wide
experts on the global Internet and Unicode, internationalization and local-
ization, implementation of Unicode in operating systems and applications,
fonts, text layout, and multilingual computing.

A guest room block has been set aside for the Conference. To receive the
conference rate of US $95.00 single and $105.00 double occupancy plus
applicable taxes, please call or fax the Red Lion Hotel San Jose directly and
request the Unicode Conference special group rate. This rate is valid during
the dates of September 2-8, 1996 inclusive.

Hotel reservations should be made prior to August 2, 1996. Thereafter this
special rate will be offered on a space available basis only.

      Non-members:
      - Prior to August 15 $ 475.00

      - After August 15 $ 525.00

   Exhibit only pass: $ 25.00

   Conference registration to include all conference materials; proceedings;
