Thanks Ken, I just checked yesterday and the bookstore mentioned that
O'Reilly had marked the book's scheduled publication date as unknown. If
I understand it correctly, now there will be only one book, not two.

Well, it's done. I am now waiting for the green light
from O'Reilly so
that I can make the 2400-dpi camera-ready copy. The
total page count
came to 1,174 (including front matter). In case you were
not aware,
O'Reilly decided, at the last minute, to merge "CJKV
Reference Guide"
back into this book to make a single volume. O'Reilly's
