Status of the Character/Glyph Model (ISO/IEC TR 15285)

From: Hart, Edwin F. (Edwin.Hart@jhuapl.edu)
Date: Wed Nov 25 1998 - 12:26:38 EST

I received the proof copy from ISO on Monday. A quick scan showed no
problems but I plan to examine it in detail shortly. I plan to respond to
ISO by Monday, Dec. 7 so that ISO may publish it by the end of the year.
Thus, copies of the TR should be available early in 1999.

All pages under www.stonehand.com/unicode are out of date. The
character
glyph model document posted there is an early committee draft - the
link
to its author is broken, for example. Please do not reference it.

>How soon?

The final version of the CG TR is/will be available from DIN, ANSI
or your
        local standards organization.
