What is UCData?
---------------
UCData is a simple package that provides ctype-like operations for Unicode
UCS2 text (and surrogates). It provides character type info, case mapping,
decompositions, and number lookup. In addition, a program is included to
generate a stand-alone Java class with the same capabilities as the C code.

The package uses one or more files in the Unicode Character Database format
(i.e. UnicodeData-2.1.5.txt) to build the data tables.

UCData is freeware.
