We are extending the X11 BDF fixed fonts to a reasonable Unicode
repertoire. Thanks to several very active contributers, there has been
very good progress over the past few weeks. The 9x15.bdf font is now
very close to completion and will sometimes during the next few weeks
also be included into XFree86.

9x15 covers at the moment the following characters:

# Plane 00
# Rows Positions (Cells)

If your favourite script that you would like to use with xterm and your
Linux email/web software is suitable for representation in 9x15 pixel
cells and is not yet there, now is a good time to contribute it. We also
need people to do proofreading.
