Both of these packages are freeware.

The UCData package provides a C API to access Unicode Character Database info
about characters in a compact way. Version 2.0 removes the old Java class and
provides a new UCData.java class which reads the same data files as the C code
and provides much the same API.

The CSets package provides mapping tables not already available at the Unicode
site. Version 1.4 removes the CP1258 table in favor of the official one at
the Unicode site, adds two Georgian encodings, and adds three more Persian
encodings.
