There are the tipa-fonts which contain a complete IPA set and some more
usefull phonetic characters. They are available as METAFONT sources (ideal
for LaTeX, coming with a macro package) and Postscript Type 1 fonts (made by
Taco Hoekwater) from the CTAN archives and their mirrors ( is
one of the primary servers of CTAN). Look below tex-archive/fonts/.
