Hello!
G-ACUTE is an alternate transcription from Macedonian/Serbian... (Cyrillic)
for the letter D´YYE (looks like a hooktop heng [blend of + {eng}] with a
left-facing right tail, ITHIKN], that's a kinda old-fashioned (like the
similar rendition K-ACUTE for the Cyrillic T´YYE [like a crossed L-C ,
ITHIKN]; the standard Serbian renditions for T´YYE & D´YYE are C-ACUTE
(rather than T-ACUTE) & D-ACUTE, respectively:
    T´YYE—standard: C-ACUTE, occasionally T-ACUTE; old-fashioned: K-ACUTE
    D´YYE—standard: D-ACUTE; old-fashioned: G-ACUTE
which sound like /t´ch/ & /d´j/, accordingly!
I hope this notice solves that mystery for you... Thank You!
