Well, judging by the few mangled "proposals" that actually made their way to
the Unicode List, we had no *good* April Fool's joke too. :-(
Unluckily, we at the A1TC were forced to revise our plans in a hurry when
the UTC burned our best ideas with version 3.0.1: we had plotted to make
implausible announcements, such as the addition of font variants (italic,
bold, sans-serif, etc.) for many alphabets. :-)
