The answer is yes. Only those combinations which are defined
by the UTC and posted in StandardizedVariants.html will be
interpretable.

StandardizedVariants.html is not yet posted in the BETA directory
for Unicode 3.2 (the editors are still wrestling with glyphs
to use for it), but will be soon.
