The proposal has one problem regarding backward compatibility of unicode
with ISCII. In iLeap software khandata is coded as "Explicit Halant"
form of ta, i.e. ta+hasanta+hasanta in middle of word and and ta+hasanta
in end of word. By coding khandata as different glyph, the bachward
compatibility will be lost. Anirban
