    Irrelevant. Extension C isn't encoded yet. The UTC's intention is
    that in the future, SC forms derivable algorithmically from their
    encoded TC counterparts (and vice versa) should be represented with
    variation selectors. Of course, whether WG2 will go along with this
    idea is a different matter...

    In fact, there are a dozen or thereabouts SC forms in Unicode's
    proposal for Extension C. Our hope is that these will be encoded using
    variation selectors.
