Several astrological symbols are used for plant life cycle in Botany:

    Perennial tree-like:
    U+2644 : SATURN

    Perennial bush-like:
    U+2643 : JUPITER

    Biennial:
    U+2642 : MALE SIGN (Mars)
U+2687 : WHITE CIRCLE WITH TWO DOTS
    U+2609 : SUN
    U+2461 : CIRCLED DIGIT TWO

    Annual:
    U+2609 : SUN
    U+2460 : CIRCLED DIGIT ONE

    Other perennial non-bush-like:

This one not in Unicode: Saturn with double stroke. I found it and took
these photos in the Lisbon University Botanical Garden on Aug.26th, 2006:

    http://tuvalkin.web.pt/unicode/h-jup2.jpg (along with regular U+2644)

    See also < http://www.symbols.com/encyclopedia/17/179.html >.

It is perhaps unappropriate to encode it as U+2644 U+0335, unless other
symbols are modified in the same way.
