    Are you not exposed to such issues in +ACo-by default+ACo-, if the OS rendering engine and input routines give some PUA code points special treatment, as if they were assigned code points? If a word processor gives special treatment to certain PUA code points, how are you supposed edit texts created in accordance with your private encoding convension with it? Are you supposed to write your own OS and word processor?
