An IDN is just an Unicode string. Anyone has a good free (as in free
speech, not as in free beer) tool here?

Hi folks,

I was thinking to write a tool that would convert an IDN into an image
file (so that it could be accurately viewed through a web page for
people that may not have the correct fonts etc. available). Before I
expend any effort on it, I was wondering if anyone was aware of such a
tool already, or had developed something similar?
