It will be helpful if you could identify what operating system you are
using (Windows? Mac? Linux?), and what version of same (XP? Vista? 98?
10.4? Gutsy?), and what application you want to enter this character in --
in some cases different apps will have different shortcuts that may make
it particularly easy (or hard).
