Hello,
are there precomposed characters that map to more than 2 codes? If yes, what kind of chars are concerned?
If no, then it seems to me the only case of multi-stage decomposition is when a character first maps to a standard singleton like for Angstrom --> A with ring --> A, ring.
If this is true, then NFD algorithm can be rewritten as
-1- standardisation (angstrom to a with ring)
-2- actual decomposition (single stage)
-3- ordering
for each source code.
What do you think?
