Well, there is SOFT HYPHEN, as you yourself noted later.

There is also
0083;<control>;Cc;0;BN;;;;;N;NO BREAK HERE;;;;

"NBH is used to indicate a point where a line break shall not occur when
text is formatted."

But that is in the C1 area, most of which nearly no-one implements...
