Why? They’re not visually similar to the existing characters. So spoofing wouldn’t be an issue. 

Spoofing would absolutely be an issue, because if there are free alternates users will mis-remember which one was used for a given label. Goes for the whole simplified / traditional issue in the Han script.

Issues are not limited to visual similarity.
