• Make sure you claim your badge at Building 1 reception desk. It will allow you to move freely on campus.

Directions

From San Jose: Take U.S. 101 north (towards San Francisco). Exit at Shoreline Blvd. At the light, cross Shoreline Blvd. directly onto La Avenida. Continue for approximately ½ mile; Turn Right onto the Microsoft main entrance parking lot. You will be facing Building 1 as you pull into the parkway.

From Cupertino: Take 280 North with junction to 85 North. Continue on highway 85 until it hits the 101 North. Immediately after 85 meets 101, take the Shoreline Blvd exit.  At the light, cross Shoreline Blvd directly onto La Avenida. Continue for approximately ½ mile; Turn Right onto the Microsoft main entrance parking lot. You will be facing Building 1 as you pull into the parkway.

From San Francisco: Take U.S. 101 south (towards San Jose). Exit at Shoreline Blvd. Turn left on Shoreline. Go over the freeway and turn right at the first light on La Avenida. Continue on La Avenida approximately ½ mile; Turn Right onto the Microsoft main entrance parking lot. You will be facing Building 1 as you pull into the parkway.

If you're Staying at the Ramada in Mountain View

From hotel to Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus:

• Make a Left on Fairchild when exiting the hotel
• Turn Left on Leong Drive
• At the light, turn Right into Moffett Boulevard
• Take the 101 North and take the first exit Shoreline Boulevard
• At the light, cross Shoreline Blvd. directly onto L'Avenida and continue for approximately ½ mile
• Turn Right onto the Microsoft main entrance parking lot. You will be facing Building 1 as you pull into the parkway.

OR (to avoid morning traffic on highway 101)

• Make a Left on Fairchild when exiting the hotel
• Turn Left on Leong Drive
• At the light, turn Left into Moffett Boulevard
• At the light, make a Right into Middlefield
• Make another Right into Shoreline
• Go straight on Shoreline
•  After crossing the overpass make a Right on L'Avenida and continue for approximately ½ mile
• Turn Right onto the Microsoft main entrance parking lot. You will be facing Building 1 as you pull into the parkway.

Dining in the area

• If you go left on Shoreline Boulevard coming out of L'Avenida street, then make a left on Middlefield and a Right on Moffett,  you will come across  the train track. Moffett Blvd. will then become Castro Street which is the heart of Mountain View's downtown. It has a variety of restaurants, bookstores and coffee shops. Enjoy!
