This is the first call for WG2 meeting # 42 from 20 � 23 (noon) May 2002 in Dublin, Ireland.� The host organization is NSAI, the national body of Ireland.� The meeting is also hosted by Microsoft, Lotus and Everson Typography.� The meeting venue is at Microsoft.� Here is the address:

Accommodations are at the Burlington Hotel.� A block of rooms is being blocked.� More information on the hotel and other cheaper (B&B) accommodations are being arranged and will be sent in the 2^nd call for the meeting.

WG2 will be meeting starting at 10:00 am Monday, 20 May 2002 and conclude on Thursday, 23 May 2002, hopefully before noon.� The WG2 meeting follows the Unicode International Conference which scheduled from 13 � 17 May 2002.� This is a unique chance for WG2 experts to attend and participate in the Unicode Conference.

This first call for WG2 meeting # 42 includes a preliminary agenda but I invite you to send me topics to add to it.� The agenda outline is similar to the one we used in our earlier meetings.� The deadline for receiving documents related to this meeting is 30 April 2002.

The objective of this meeting is to continue the WG2 program of work.
