UTC #110 Agenda
November 12, 2007

[110-C1] Consensus: Approve the minutes of UTC 109/L2 207 Joint Meeting. [L2/06-324R2]
[110-C2] Consensus: Change the script property of U+327E: CIRCLED HANGUL IEUNG U to "Hangul". [L2/06-399]

[110-A2] Action Item for Mark Davis: Make the change to Scripts.txt for changing U+327E to have "Hangul" script property. [L2/06-399]

[110-C3] Consensus: Change the script property for all the characters in L2/06-399 with Katakana parts to "Katakana" script, and highlight this in the Unicode 5.0.1 beta to draw attention to the changes.

[110-C4] Consensus: Open a Public Review Issue (PRI) on the desirability of further changes to the script property of the characters in the U+3200 and U+3300 blocks. The wording of the PRI will point out what has been changed and what may be open for review. [L2/06-399]

[110-C5] Consensus: Add regexes from Table 2 of document L2/07-026R2, as revised in discussion, to UCD.html as test patterns, after review by the Editorial Committee.

[110-C6] Consensus: Document the default values for the properties (string and catalog values) as in table 2 of L2/07-026R2, as amended in discussion.

[110-C7] Consensus: Document the way that booleans are represented in the data files for both True and False values, using N and Y instead of F and T in those cases where specific values are called out. [L2/07-026R2]

[110-C8] Consensus: Document in UCD.html and in the text of V 5.0.1 that the algorithmic decomposition mapping values for Hangul syllables are not the full ones but the pair-wise ones. [L2/07-026R2]

[110-C9] Consensus: The UTC is willing to add a new Unicode property for use in IDN with contents of that property determined by rules established by the IETF.

[110-C10] Consensus: Correct Unicode Standard Annex #24: Script Names to say that "Script = unknown" value includes surrogates. [L2/07-026R]

[110-C11] Consensus: Make changes to "blk" and "dt" values in PropertyValueAliases.txt, as in items 8 and 9 of document L2/07-026R without the notes.

[110-C12] Consensus: Document in UCD.html what happens when an explicit value is not provided for the foldings and mappings listed in item #10 of document L2/07-026R, except for special casing conditions.

[110-C13] Consensus: Add a new field to derived numerical values with the rational format for the number. [L2/07-026R]

[110-C14] Consensus: Remove special casing conditions from PropertyValueAliases.txt and UCD.html. Comment in CaseFolding.txt and SpecialCasing.txt that the lines included in item #13 of document L2/07-026R constitutes conditional casing data and do not constitute a formal Unicode property.

[110-C15] Consensus: Change the linebreak property for U+1FFD GREEK OXIA from AL to BB. [L2/07-028]

[110-C16] Consensus: Approve the linebreak changes for 7 characters as documented in [L2/07-050].

[110-C18] Consensus: Issue a Proposed Update Unicode Standard Annex #14: Line Breaking Properties. [L2/07-028]

[110-C19] Consensus: Add U+00B7 MIDDLE DOT to ID_Continue. [L2/07-033 L2/07-042]

[110-C20] Consensus: Authorize a beta for Unicode 5.0.1.

[110-C21] Consensus: Document in Unicode Standard Annex #31: Identifier and Pattern Syntax that people may want to tailor identifiers to only permit U+00B7 MIDDLE DOT in certain contexts.
[110-C22] Consensus: Issue a new Public Review Issue based on discussion in the meeting of Public Review Issue #96 feedback, including the new Indic properties. [L2/07-043]

[110-C45] Consensus: There are serious technical problems with the document ISO/IEC CD 19757-7: Document Schema Definition Languages (DSDL) - Part 7: Character Repertoire Description Language. The grapheme cluster description is unnecessarily restrictive and makes it impossible to describe repertoires containing arbitrary combining marks. The UTC also has serious concerns about IANA registrations, and the registration process is unspecified. [L2/06-397, L2/07-052]

[110-C46] Consensus: Text based upon the discussions in the Malayalam ad hoc will be added to the 5.0.1 beta and be part of the public review.
