Subject: Annotation for 111C4 SHARADA OM

This is w.r.t. my document L2/12‐019 "Recommendation against use of
111C4 SHARADA OM for now". 

I notice that while the UTC has not discussed this document so far, the
Indic committee's document L2/12-031 on p 1 has recommended "an action
be taken to respond to the author, asking him to draft an appropriate
annotation for U+111C4 for a future version of the standard."

Recognizing the above feedback suo motu, I submit that:

Till such date as a unique ligated glyph for the Sharada OM may be
identified, the character should be annotated as follows:

111C4 SHARADA OM
	* use of this character is discouraged
	* the sequence 1118F 11180 should be used instead

If/when a unique ligated glyph for the Sharada OM is identified, the
representative glyph of the character may be changed and the above
annotations may be withdrawn.
