South Asian Nepal Himalayish Scripts (D.10.1

[133-C41] Consensus: The proposal for "Himalayish" does not reflect the principles that the UTC has followed in the encoding of Indic scripts. The document proposes to unify a wide variety of scripts with differing orthographic behaviors, and would, in our opinion, be extremely difficult to implement and would be inconsistent with existing practice. South Asian Newar/Nepaalalipi (D.8)

[133-C42] Consensus: The UTC notes proposals to encode Newar/Nepaalalipi authored by Anshuman Pandey (L2/12-003) and Dev Dass Manandhar (L2/12-349). We encourage all interested parties to work together to further develop a joint proposal to encode this script. After review of these proposals, the UTC thinks that document L2/12-003 better reflects the approach to encoding models that the UTC favors for the encoding of Indic scripts.
