UnicodeMath on the Web
UnicodeMath is a linear representation of math that often resembles math notation and is easy to enter. It works well in Microsoft desktop apps such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote but it hasn’t been generally available elsewhere. This presentation introduces an open-source applet that implements UnicodeMath on the web. You can input and output UnicodeMath, LaTeX, speech, Nemeth braille, and MathML. It includes in-place editing of built-up equations. The UnicodeMath support is updated to include script roundhand and chancery math alphabets as well as the Arabic math alphabetics. The presentation describes and demonstrates the functionality and implementation.
