Hehe, not even that, since when you pull the "carriage return lever" to return
the carriage to the left margin, the ratchet setting (for single space
or double space) automatically feeds the line (or lines) on the platen to the
ratchet stop before the lever locks and allows you to drag the
carriage back.
So nice try, but CRLF was already mechanically automated decades ago.
