I got the following reaction from a specialist on aragonese issues,
Ferran Marin i Ramos <webmaster@fmarin.com>:
> Certe temas pri eraro, cxar la nomo de la lingvo estas "aragonés".
«It is certainly a mistake, for the language name is "aragonés".»
Certainly somewhere along the process a non-ASCII7 character was lost
(and this has to do with the subject of our list! ;-).

«But one can't really call it an indigenous language name, as the
spakers name it according to the local variants: benasqués (patués),
ribagorzano, chistabín, sobrarbés, fobano, etc., but never "aragonés".
For them it is an artificial language, taught at school, also (but
hardely) known as "fabla", and they indeed refuse it.»
