    I was not "confused", Peter. I assumed that SAMPI derived from SAN,
    and said so on the first page: "(SAN > SAMPI)", as Thompson does on
    page 91 of his Introduction to Greek and Latin Palaeolography, which
    I had seen in 1998. I may have been, with Thompson, incorrect, but I
    was not confused.
