I have an academic Slavic linguistics background but I don't use it
much. I work on international digital library projects and I'm
interested in unicode for where that can take us in future projects
(aside from the sheer coolness of it). I mostly lurk on the list because
I'm a newbie and learn a lot from the discussions. So thank you all.

ps I think I've learned all I need to know about Hebrew and Phoenician
:)

Hi,
Supposedly this list has >600 people.
Just of curiosity, how many of you are NOT font
designers?
And are any of your corpus linguists, text database
people, or maybe database designers?
Thanks, Elaine
