    The problem with the placing of the macron on n & m is overcome if you use
    the font "Doulos SIL", which you can download from
    http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=DoulosSIL_download
    It is designed for just this problem. I send you (off-list) a Word document
    with this font embedded, so you can see that the macron is correctly placed
    for m,n,M,N.
